Family

On Sunday I went to Bloomingdale where my family lives. We celebrated my Aunt's and Uncle's 20th Anniversary. My Aunt was telling me how I was at the wedding too and how I was dancing. I didn't realize at that moment that I actually was at the wedding but in mom's belly. So my Aunt was right I was there.   I got to see my cousins again that I didn't see since Labor Day weekend. I also got to see my cousin's baby that I haven't seen since he was born. It's been only 3 months he's gotten so big and sooooo cute! I really enjoyed my Sunday with my family and cousins. Spending time with my family is always a fun time. I think it is important that people have a good relationship with their families. The picture on top is of me and my two cousins, Karolina and Monika. It's always a great time with these two even though we barely see each other. The picture underneath is of my cousins baby, Kubus. Kubus is a nickname for Jakub in polish. Seeing this l

Catching up with Nathalie

This weekend was filled with wild adventures and a lot of memories. My friend, Nathalie, decided to come and visit me at Lewis for one night. I haven't seen her in almost a year, so it was nice to finally see her! I showed her around campus and she said she really liked it. She said she liked being surrounded by nature and such welcoming people. That night, I took her to meet some friends of mine. We had a great time laughing and making new friends. By the end of the night, we lost track of time, so we said bye to all of our friends and started heading back to campus. We stayed up almost all night catching up about what is new in our lives and how we got to the point where we are today. Needless to say, it's nice catching up with people you haven't talked to in a while. So maybe text a friend, it might be worth it :)

Sunday = Fun-day/Bum-day

Sunday. I have two thoughts about Sundays. They are either fun or bummy, it just depends on my mood and day. Yesterday was a mixer of both actually. It started off with waking up late, getting to sleep in. ( p.s. i love to sleep ). Cleaning my side of the room a little bit and showering. I basically woke up in a okay kind of mood. At around 2 my parents and brother came in the see me. They still haven't seen my dorm because either they were busy or had work. I was really glad they came to see and that I got to see my brother. I miss my brother, he's so cute. I miss when he would annoy me all summer. We went to Texas Roadhouse, I ate soo good. I got so full so quickly that when my food came, I couldn't finish. But that's okay because now I have leftovers, and they will be amazing. Also I really recommend going to Texas Roadhouse if you never been there, great place! After having a great lunch with my parents, I came back to my dorm and took a nice nap. I love naps and na

My Labor Day Weekend

What does Labor Day weekend mean to you? For me, every year I go camping in Wisconsin at Castle Rock Park with my family. It's our family tradition to go, and there are no ifs ands or buts, we have to go. When I was younger I used to love going camping and I still do, but there was a phase when I didn't really want to go. When I was young I loved going because I got to see my cousins and camping was just so much fun in general. But once I got a little bit older I always wanted to stay home and have the whole house to myself. And then when I got older I wanted to go but I barely went because I had work. This year, I decided to drive up for at least one night. I got to see my cousins, aunts, uncles, that I haven't seen since the beginning of summer. My family lives in the suburbs, so we only see each other on holidays, birthdays, and sometimes for random family parties. Seeing everyone and being with them made me so happy. Playing games, having a campfire, dancing, laughi
